1. What do we use your personal information for

We use your personal information to identify you as a customer, to process your tour booking, to entitle your train passes or domestic flights in Japan (these tickets must bear the holder's name and passport number to be valid) and to book your accommodation. 

Your personal information and any records relating to your journey will also be retained for audit functions as long as is it legally required. Then, we safely destroy it.

 

2. HOW WE SAFEGUARD YOUR PRIVACY

We do not use your personal information to send unsolicited advertising (spam).

Unless strictly necessary to deliver the tours and serviced you contract with us, we do not transfer your information to third parties under any circumstance without your written consent.

We do not process or store any analytic data from your browser and internet activity.

Go!GayJAPAN will never upload or use any pictures of you in any way without your written consent.

Whilst we have worked diligently to provide accurate and complete information, we cannot be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise directly or indirectly from the use of this Website (or any inability to use it) or any of the information contained on this Website. All warranties, whether express or implied as to the accuracy or completeness of the information contained on this Website or in respect of any materials or products referred to on this Website are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. BOOKING CONDITIONS

  • An initial non-refundable payment of 300 euros is required to start designing your tour and determine its budget.

  • If you want to travel with friends or family, your group can have anywhere from 2 to 30 members.

  • Tour fees must be paid for in full at least 8 weeks before the scheduled date of departure. If tour fees are not paid in full by balance due date, the customer's tour shall be subject to cancellation for Non-Payment.

  • Once booking is confirmed the booking fee is non-refundable and no amendments can be made due to external booking conditions.

  • The customer is responsible for the custody of the transportation tickets provided by the tour guide. In case of loss, the traveler shall cover the costs of the journeys corresponding to the distances the ticket was valid for.

  • Occasionally selected hotels may not be available on travel dates at the time of booking. You will be notified if this is the case and alternate nearby accommodation will be provided with equal facilities.

  • We can not guarantee the functionality of the wifi connection supplied by the internet provider during the tour. Therefore we are not responsible for any malfunction of the connection. 

  

8. Cancellation by the Company

 In the unlikely event that a booking has to be cancelled by Go!GayJAPAN before departure date for any reason other than "force majeure", a full and prompt refund will be made of all amounts paid by the customer.

"Force Majeure" includes war, threat of war, riot, civil disobedience or strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or industrial disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, level of water in rivers, technical or maintenance problems with transfer, unforeseen operational decisions of air carriers such as changes of schedule, or any unforeseeable or unavoidable event beyond our control. No compensation is payable in this case.

 

9. BEHAVIOUR

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others. In such circumstances all suppliers (e.g. hotel managers, airline pilots) and Go!GayJAPAN have the right to terminate arrangements made on your behalf, in which case our responsibility to you ceases immediately and there can be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result. Further, you will be liable to reimburse Go!GayJAPAN for any expenses whatsoever it incurs as a result of your behavior.
